Three New Mantsinen Material Handlers Arrived in Constanta Port
After a sea voyage of more than two weeks, three additional Mantsinen material handlers have arrived in the Port of Constanța: two Mantsinen 140 units and one Mantsinen 200DES, delivered fully assembled and ready for commissioning.
They follow the two units installed by our team earlier this summer, reflecting the growing interest in Mantsinen solutions for port operations.
Last month, our technical team was in the Port of Constanța to prepare for the arrival of the machines: they inspected the designated operation area and planned the commissioning stages. Although the handlers arrived fully assembled, our team supervised the unloading, carried out the initial checks and completed the commissioning process. Today, all three machines are fully operational, contributing to the smooth flow of activities within the port.
The Mantsinen 200DES is one of the top-performing machines in its class, combining power with operational flexibility. It offers a lifting capacity of up to 26 tonnes and a reach of 37 metres, enabling the safe and efficient handling of high material volumes. The Dual Power system allows the machine to operate either electrically or via diesel engine, adapting easily to the specific requirements of port or industrial environments. With HybriLift® technology, the machine recovers energy each time the boom is lowered, significantly reducing overall energy consumption and operating costs. A wide range of attachments is available for this model, making it suitable for bulk materials, pulp bales, steel coils, big bags or heavy loads up to 25 tonnes—allowing rapid transitions between different types of materials.
The two Mantsinen 140 units delivered to the port are designed for intensive operations requiring both strength and precision. With a reach of up to 29 metres and a lifting capacity of around 18 tonnes, the Mantsinen 140 is ideal for bulk material handling and various industrial tasks. The HybriLift® system contributes to reduced fuel consumption, while the machine’s robust boom and precise hydraulic system ensure smooth and stable movements even under demanding conditions. The elevated cabin provides excellent visibility, enhancing operator safety and productivity.
